Senior Missions and Ministry Opportunities

Impact! Each of us has an opportunity to make a difference by offering our time, talents, and treasures to serve the Lord and others.  Whether you have a few hours to invest or are looking for an ongoing ministry to get involved in, there is a place for you to serve at Mobberly.

CareFriends (Homebound) Ministry - Reach out to those in our church and community who are homebound. Offer your prayers, encouragement, and share something special from the church as you make monthly visits and phone calls.

Nursing Home Ministries - It is a joy and a privilege to reach out to those in our community that require the additional care of an assisted living center or nursing home. Bible teaching, worship, prayer, music, and encouragement are a regular part of these ministries. These ministry opportunities take place each Tuesday and Thursday.

Meals on Wheels - In conjunction with Longview Community Ministries, Mobberly teams make deliveries throughout the community to those that are elderly and/or disabled. Teams go out on the 1st Wednesday and the 4th Thursday of each month.

Mission Trips – Looking for an adventure with an impact.   Consider going on one of Mobberly’s mission trips scheduled throughout the year.  You’ll find more information listed on the Missions page.   

Sunday Morning Opportunities – Across the campus every Sunday morning places to serve can be found.
