The Mobb College Ministry is a great place for students who want to grow spiritually and get involved with the church in ministry. Mobberly offers many venues for volunteers to get involved and serve where their passion is. Also, with the variety of connect groups that the Mobb offers it is easy for them to serve and still plug in to a connect group. If you are interested please contact our College Minister Kevin Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are numerous connect groups that are offered at the Mobb, and they have been created in order to fit the students schedule. We have connect groups that are larger venue as well as smaller to also help fit the personality of the students. Check one of these out and start to grow closer with God during your college years.
Sunday Morning: 10:45 am. D107
This connect group is our largest connect group, but it also has a personal element as students are divided into small groups by table with table leaders. The structure of the class is half lecture and half discussion that is facilitated by the table leaders. The topics are something that most college students are dealing with as they continue to grow in their walk with Christ. If you like to meet lot of people and live life together with them, this would be the class for you.
Thursday Night Encore: 6:30 pm. The Crossing
This Biblet Study was created to get rid of the monotony of a college week and give students a time to get closer to God during the week. It offers a time of food and fellowship that starts at 6:30 and worship, Bible Study, and connect group breakout that starts at 7. If you are busy serving on Sunday morning or if you just want to be in God's Word during the week, this would be a great place to start.
Friday Night: 6:00 pm. LETU Student Center
This is one of our smaller venues. With the hectic pace of homework and projects, this class was in mind. The style of this class is a book study, and discussion follows after the study. If you serve on Sunday mornings and are busy throughout the week this would be a great class to join.
Sunday Morning: 9:15 am. Caddo Hall
The Gospel Project is a great curriculum that the 9:15 small group is going through. It ties the Theology of the Old and New Testament together in an deep study that can easily relate to college students. It is one of our smaller venues and there is a great deal of discussion. We would love to have you here if this peaks your interest.
Sunday Afternoon: 12:15 pm. Caddo Hall
If you do not like the sound of 9:15 in the morning and you like free food and fellowship along with a Bible study, then this group is most definitely for you. This group is designed for the college student that likes to go to church at 10:45 and then go to a college Bible study. The topics are always something that will impact you as a student.
Sunday Night: 6:00 pm. ETBU Student Center
This class is for those who love going through book studies in a small environment and connecting to other students while discussing the book. You do not even have to leave campus. All you need to do is be their at 6:00 and be prepared to talk and enjoy what God has to say to you that night.
