Prayer Ministry at Mobberly
The Prayer Ministry’s foundation is built on the belief that God’s power is unleashed and His purposes are fulfilled through prayer. Prayer is simply communicating with our Heavenly Father. The Prayer Ministry strives to facilitate and resource people in ways to help them pray for themselves, for others, and corporately within our congregation. Several opportunities are available and are listed below.
God answers prayers!
“Pray one for another…” -James 5:16
“Pray without ceasing.” -1Thessalonians 5:17
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” -Matthew 21:22
"Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will sustain you;He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." -Psalm 55:22
Watchman on the Wall - On your walls O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night. Isaiah 62:6 (ESV)
As a watchman stands guard for the protection of his city, these prayer warriors commit to praying for one hour, every week, at the same time, for God to move mightily through Mobberly. A person’s hour on the “wall” is spent in the privacy of their home, office or wherever they may be at their chosen hour. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Intercessory Prayer Room
The Intercessory Prayer Room seeks to provide ways for members to be actively involved in the prayer life of Mobberly and to provide outreach and prayer support for our Mobberly family, community and the world. Intercessors commit to praying for one hour, every week, at the same time on campus. The Prayer Room is open 6 a.m to 6 p.m., seven days a week. To submit a prayer request call: 903.759.PRAY or post below.
If you are interested in serving as an intercessor, please contact email@example.com for more information.
