Where did you go to college and what degrees did you obtain?
Criswell College, B.A. in Biblical Studies, 1990
New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Master of Divinity, 1997
 
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Lancaster, Texas attending FBC Lancaster.
 
When and how did you come to know Christ?
I was at camp at Mt. Lebanon with my church when I was nine. I had sensed that God was working in my heart that week. It was a Wednesday afternoon and we were in a small group study with our children’s leader. As he shared the truth of God’s love and plan for my salvation, I realized I needed Christ and He was the only way to heaven. So, that afternoon I gave my life to Christ and He changed me for all eternity!
 
When and whom did you marry?
I married Lacey Clay on March 18, 1989 at FBC Lancaster, Texas.
 
How many children do you have?
4 children: Emily (19), sophomore nursing student at William Carey University, Hattiesburg, MS; Hannah (16), sophomore who will attend Hallsville H.S.; Elise (12), sixth grader who will attend Hallsville M.S.; and Noah (5).
 
Your last meal would be:
A (Bife de Chorizo) steak, grilled chorizo and grilled provolone cheese from La Estancia in Buenos Aires, Argentina (asadorlaestancia.com.ar).
 
Nobody knows that you:
Climbed Longs Peak (Elevation: 14,259 ft.) in Estes Park, Colorado.

Anything with John Wayne.
