The thing I love most about my job is:
Teaching. I don’t want to just teach facts and techniques about music; I want my teaching to inspire others to love music, to love learning how to make music, and to love praising the Lord through music.

University of Memphis – Bachelor of Music (Music History)
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary – Master of Music (Music Ministry)
Where were you born and raised?
Memphis, TN
When and how did you come to know Christ?
I was seven years old when I gave my heart to Christ on December 13, 1992. I was saved while attending a performance of “The Singing Christmas Tree” at my home church – Bellevue Baptist in Memphis.
When and whom did you marry?
I married Jamie on May 30, 2009.
What do you like to do with your free time?
I spend most of my free time hanging out with my best friend – my wife Jamie. We enjoy watching college football and basketball. I also like to play guitar and write music in my spare time.
Your last meal would be:
Spaghetti and meat sauce.
What lesson from mom or dad do you still live by today?
Don’t be a quitter. If you commit to it – finish it.
