Mobberly Preteen Ministry
(5th and 6th Grade)

“Stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly tuned in to the Gospel, careful not to be distracted or diverted.” Colossians 1:23

Our Goal: To develop preteens who are grounded in the Word and ready for the world.  Listed below are the priorities of this ministry:

1. Lead preteens to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
2. Develop a Biblical worldview
3. Develop relationships with peers and caring, Christian role models
4. Provide a place for good, clean fun!!!
5. Develop an attitude of service

Sunday Morning

Surge
9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
(Rooms A120 – A122, enter through the Gym) 

Our Sunday morning Bible study time, Surge, includes contemporary music, Bible skills development and instruction from God’s Word. Our curriculum includes "Walk Through the Bible" and lessons designed to deepen their understanding of the Bible and guide them through the challenge of living out their faith in their daily life. All of this is presented in an exciting environment designed to keep preteens engaged. 
 

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) for boys, and Girls in Action (GA's) for girls meet from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
(Various locations – Come to the Children’s Building and we will direct you.)

These are club type organizations where boys and girls learn about missions and sharing their faith.

W.O.W. – Wired on Wednesdays
(After RAs and GAs) 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
(Rooms A120 – A122, enter through the Gym)


Wired on Wednesdays is a casual time for preteens to develop relationships with their peers and caring, Christian adults. Our agenda for this time will include fun, games, drama and leadership development.
