The Mobberly Worship Ministries offer many opportunities for service to our Lord.  However the Lord has gifted you, there's a place for you to plug in.

Do you enjoy singing?
The PraiSingers Choir is made up of people of all ages who have one thing in common: they love to sing and worship the Lord!  The choir's primary role is to lead in worship in the Sunday Morning services.  The choir also enjoys lifting up the name of Jesus by presenting various programs, concerts, and dramas.  The PraiSingers Choir rehearses weekly. The People of PraiSingers (P.O.P.S.) choir is made up of some of our more "mature" adult singers!  People who are age 55 and up come together to praise the Lord and fellowship with one another.  Check the schedule below for details or contact the Worship Ministry office at 903-663-5426 for more information.

Do you play an instrument or want to learn to play an instrument?

The Mobberly Praise Bells have been ringing since the late 1960's.  We play in several Sunday worship services throughout the year and also at various other venues in the community.  Check the schedule below for details.

The Mobberly Academy of Performing Arts offers private lessons for all ages in guitar, voice, violin, viola, flute, and piano.  Our goal is to instill in our students a heart for worship, while helping them to develop the skills to excel in this area.  If you are interested, please contact Deborah Gilbert at 903-663-7367.

What about youth and children's choirs?

Youth Choir begins September 7.  Their purpose is to give our youth the opportunity to develop their talents and gift of music in worship and service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to prepare them to move into an adult choir.  The Youth Choir is made up of young men and women in grades 7-12.  They are an integral part of our church's youth ministry.  They have a vital role in leading in worship in our Sunday Evening services.  Check the schedule below for details. 

The Children's Choir ministry also begins September 7.  This ministry seeks to develop each child's musical knowledge and abilities through meaningful and age appropriate musical experiences such as rehearsals, musicals, and other performances.  We offer the Wee Praise choir (pre-K and K), the Shouts of Praise choir (grades 1-4), and the Volume choir (grades 5-6).  The theme verse for our children's choirs is..."Shout for joy to the Lord all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs."  Psalm 100:1
