scott-175Scott serves as Connect Pastor.  He has been at Mobberly since January 2000. Before coming to Mobberly, Scott served as pastoral intern at Legacy Drive Baptist Church in Plano, Texas and worked in the oil industry for twelve years.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in May 1987 and a Master of Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December 1999.

Scott is married to the former Cheryl Nelson of Plano. They have 2 children, Joshua and Rachel.
